After Eden | 2025 – ongoing

„So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.“

After Eden is a photographic project about exile, failure, and a state of perpetual displacement. Located around Berlin’s Bahnhof Zoo, it centers on people who linger at the city’s margins — those who have not arrived where they hoped and who inhabit a kind of suspended in-between.

The work treats failure as a human condition to be acknowledged. After Eden is less about blame than recognition. It asks us to sit with the discomfort of not arriving and to accept failure as part of human existence.
